Nice vintage Musicman Stingray 2 EQ four String Bass Guitar from 1990. I think first year with 6 bolt neck plate and easy truss rod adjuster. Certainly the way to go in my opinion. Bass is in good condition with nice straight neck. Fairly clean bass with some marking and buckle rash to the back you can see in the pictures.

The neck date is 1990 as is the date stamped on the body and neck.  There is a date on the electronics of 19 July 1990 .  This is the model that evolved from when Ernie Ball purchased the Musicman business in 1984. This version has the gloss finish to the rear of the neck, 6 bolt neck plate and large bridge plate with adjustable mutes and lower neck end truss rod adjuster. A few years later they switched to a satin finish to the neck and retained the large bridge plate. Then towards the end of the 90's they started using smaller bridge plates. Some players favour the gloss finish and larger bridge plates making these basses quite collectible. Ernie Ball Stingrays have been pretty constant in my experience and I have found the average weight for EB Stingrays is around 9 1/2lbs. You can get them lighter but they are generally in that range. This one weighs in at 9lb 6oz.

The bass plays and sounds great with a medium action. Could go lower. The bass ships in a non-original case.
