Description

Rick Turner Electroline 4 Bass

Hard to find Bass. Fantastic 2005 Electroline 4 string bass. Two Soap Bar pickups and Piezo Reference Bridge. The controls are: Volume, Pickup Blend, Piezo-Pickup blend, Stacked Treble cut for Piezo (top) & Magnetic (outer ring). Awamp ash body, maple neck, rose wood finger board. The weight is 8 1/2 lbs. Ships in the original USA G&G hard case. Bass is in excellent condition. Fast, slim, straight, neck, great frets and no issues.  The key to the Electroline's tonal flexibility is the Turner "Reference" piezo pickup system, providing a separate pickup for each string. Combining this with the two Turner Soapbar pickups gives enormous possibilities. A real tone powerhouse and a great looking one too. Endorsed by bass legends John McVie (who used one in Fleetowwd Mac) and Leland Sklar. With a Rick Turner bass you are getting hand crafted quality and attention to detail. Couple of examples: see the recessed neck screw bushings and the way the control cavity plate screws are fixed into brass plugs not direct into the wood. Little things but they do matter.

Rick Turner has been at the forefront of Guitar & Bass design for many years. His CV is spectacular, check it out. Rick does not design and build instruments for the masses. He concentrates on overcoming particular needs across a wide spectrum and makes an awful lot of people happy in the process. This bass may just make you happy too.
