 A-50 specs:

Link to 1934 Gibson Catalogue see page 55

Symmetrical body, oval sound hole, bound top, back, fingerboard, fingerboard raised off of top, dot inlays, "Gibson" logo, dark red mahogany sunburst finish.
1934-35 A-50 specs: "F" holes. Elevated fretboard

1937 A-50 specs: Bound pickguard, fingerboard flush with top, varied pattern inlays, fleur-de-lis peghead inlay, pearl logo, brown sunburst.

This is a nice clean A style with F-shaped sound holes with maple back and rim and spruce top . Mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard. Some marks as you would expect but nothing troublesome. Frets are in good shape. Some minor marking in the lower position with a lot lots life left in them for sure. The finish is so good and I checked it under black light and looked for over spray inside the F holes. I found nothing.  There is some light checking and a few marks, dings to the finish as you would expect.

Missing the pickguard the location pin on the end of the neck is still in place. Complete with the original hard case this is a very nice playing and sounding mandolin.

Please note: If outside the EU a CITES certificate will be required which would be an additional cost. CITES is all about protecting endangered species of wood. IE. Rosewood. If you do not know about CITES there is a lot of good information on Reverb about it.
